The college has started a National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit in which the students
of the college have successfully participated as volunteers in numerous social activities
like survey of slum areas, setting up of medical centres, sanitation drives, adult education
programmes for the weaker sections of the community, organising campaigns for eradication
of social evils. The scheme will help the students to develop a sense of social and civic
responsibility. They will also be awarded certificates of honour which will brighten their
future prospects.
